{"id":1253,"date":"2011-05-22T01:36:25","date_gmt":"2011-05-21T20:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/JitendraZaa.com\/blog\/?p=1253"},"modified":"2011-05-22T01:36:25","modified_gmt":"2011-05-21T20:06:25","slug":"where-are-the-reports-for-my-custom-object-with-related-objects-in-salesforce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jitendrazaa.com\/blog\/salesforce\/where-are-the-reports-for-my-custom-object-with-related-objects-in-salesforce\/","title":{"rendered":"Where are the reports for my custom object with related objects in salesforce?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Very often \u00a0it is observed that after creating the custom object which is related to other object, developers get surprise that where is the report option for my object with that custom object.<\/p>\n<p>When creating a custom object, you can use the &#8220;Relationships&#8221; section to define relationships between this new object and other objects. For example let&#8217;s say you have a new object called &#8220;<strong>Expense<\/strong>&#8221; that you want to attach to an &#8220;<strong>Account<\/strong>&#8220;.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When you check the &#8220;enable reports&#8221; box and you go to the report wizard where you choose the type of data you want to report on, \u00a0after the standard sections like &#8220;Accounts &amp; Contacts&#8221;, \u00a0&#8220;Opportunities&#8221;, \u00a0&#8220;Administrative Reports&#8221; \u00a0you&#8217;ll see a new section for &#8220;Other Reports&#8221;.
