Enable SNMP services in Windows Xp:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. To open the Windows Components Wizard, click Start<\/strong>, click Control Pane<\/strong>l, double-click Add or Remove Programs<\/strong>, and then click Add\/Remove Windows Components<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. In Components, click Management and Monitoring Tools<\/strong> (but do not select or clear its check box), and then click Details<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the Simple Network Management Protocol<\/strong> check box, and click OK.<\/li>\n
  4. Click Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Above tool is very\u00a0useful\u00a0in finding the Object Identifiers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    As shown in above figure, enter the IP address of the SNMP agent and select the Operation. \u00a0OID can be selected from left tree and the information related to that OID is displayed in the Grid.<\/p>\n
