I needed to work on Tomcat 7 and at that time i was using Eclipse Galileo. So i needed to upgrade Eclipse Galileo to Helios any how to get work done.<\/p>\n

So below is the steps which i used to upgrade my eclipse.<\/p>\n

To upgrade installed software, do the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Help > Check for Updates.<\/li>\n
  2. If updates are found, proceed through the install wizard and click Finish at the end.<\/li>\n
  3. If you are upgrading the platform itself, when you are prompted to restart it is strongly recommended to do so. A restart many not be required when updating other features, but always select to restart if you are unsure.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Note, to upgrade from Galileo(3.5) to Helios (3.6),<\/strong> you first need to add the Helios software repository as follows:<\/p>\n

    1. Window > Preferences > Install\/Update > Available Software Sites.<\/li>\n
    2. Click “Add”.<\/li>\n
    3. Enter <\/a><\/li>\n
    4. http:\/\/download.eclipse.org\/releases\/helios<\/a><\/li>\n
