W3 Total Cache<\/a> is the industry known solution for the caching mechanism of WordPress blog. Even lots of hosting proving companies like HostGator <\/a>is suggesting the users to use this plugin for there wordpress blog. The “W3 Total Cache ” has lots of advance feature and needs expert level of understanding to enable or disable those options. From many options available, there is the option of displaying “Google Speed Online API<\/a>” widget on the dashboard of the WordPress which will display the performance of the website on scale of 100.<\/p>\n

Getting started with Google Speed Online API:<\/p>\n

Go to Google APIs Console<\/a> and navigate to “Services”.<\/p>\n

Now go to “Page Speed Online API” listing and enable it.<\/p>\n

I am assuming that the W3 Total Cache is already installed. So go to “Performance | General Settings<\/strong>” and Miscellaneous section.<\/p>\n

Click on the Save all settings after entering the API key provided by the google and also dont forget to select the\u00a0check box\u00a0saying “Enable Google Page Speed dashboard widget”.<\/p>\n
